A warmer welcome at border posts

The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) trained staff at the Noordoewer border post between Namibia and South Africa in customer service. The initiative should lead to a warmer welcoming of travellers through Namibia, according to a NTB statement. The immigration staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security (MoHSS) has frequently been under the spotlight for being not welcoming to travellers. IN total 36 staff members of the MoHSS, but also the Police, the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) and Veterinary Services where trained.
