Passenger movements at airports in May
In May, nearly 100,000 passengers moved through the Namibian airports operated by Namibia Airports Company (NAC). This is a strong increase of more than five percent compared to the same months in 2025, but a decline of nearly 2.5 percent compared to April this year.
Hosea Kutako International Airport east of Windhoek remains by far the most frequented airport in the country. Nearly 82 percent of all passenger movements were recorded at HKIA. Walvis Bay International Airport with a share of nearly nine percent and Eros Airports with about five percent followed.
At HKIA the arrivals declined by nearly three percent, while the departures increased by more than 3.5 percent.
